Got pulled over the other night for driving with a broken tail light and while I was detained officer found and “tested” some white residue he got off the passenger side door handle. Not sure how reliable that was and while it could have been coke it seemd like a kind of shoddy process and I just want to know if it diminishes the impact of that charge since it wasn’t what I was pulled over to begin with. Officer said based on my demeanor he would have to test me with one of those new machines w/ a mouth swab. It “wasn’t conclusive” but now he’s sending it in to a lab. Im honestly feeling discriminated against at this point (I am mexican american) does anyone have any advice moving forward?
