My daughter miss her child support court !she was the one who ask for court to make her ex husband to pay but she miss place the day and she lost everything. Can she have a new opportunity?
Really need to know some more about the case. Where are you (state, county?). My gut feeling is that if she file the motion to modify the support or otherwise initiated the process, she can re-do the whole deal. Might depend on whether her ex had notice and came to court and so on. Child support is always subject to modification in most cases so, again, I think she can just start the process over again. Maybe she should go to court and ask the child support clerk’s office?
