I’m out on bail and missed my court date. I called the court and they told me just to turn myself in to the jail. Can I just have someone go and pay the fine instead?

Not sure exactly what the circumstances are but I can say this: Usually if you get arrested and have to post a bond (bail) to get out it means the case is more serious than just “paying the fine”. Can you possibly submit some more info? Where did this happen? What is the underlying offense?
