Casey: I doubt it. I practice law in Raleigh (Wake county) and I’ve never seen an order for arrest issued for a simple speeding ticket and expired tags. I imagine it’s the same in Franklin Co. Then there’s the matter of how long it would take for those papers to work their way through the system too. My vote is more than 3 days. Anyway… See what you can do to get that case re-calendared in Louisburg; that’s the best thing. Then you don’t have to sweat it. Down here in Raleigh, if you miss court on little stuff you can usually get the case reset just by going to the clerk’s office and filling in a little form.
