I got a 3rd spleeding ticket for excess speeding near Newport. I already did my traffic school for the first ones. What do I need to do to keep them from taking my license?
It depends on how close in time and what your prior record is. In RI, we have a habitual offender statute that kicks in when you have 4 moving violations in 18months, but the Judge is more than likely to suspend your license. I would have to pull your record and past disposition sheets online.
