Last week at a traffic stop something crazy happened to me, and I really can’t believe this is legal! At the stop I wasn’t guilty of anything – just at a routine sort of stop – and the officer said he recognized me, part of my license plate no. and my car from a reckless speeding incident that happened last summer. He says he couldn’t stop me at the time because he got a call on something else and had to go, and wasn’t able to look me up then without a full license plate number. So now I’m being charged with reckless driving for this weirdly specific reason, and I can’t honestly even remember if I did something like that last year. Is this legal??
It definitely seems odd, but there is a high probability that you can beat it or get it thrown out, with an attorney, I would recommend you contact an attorney to help you with this. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like:
