State: Wisconsin County: Outagamie
I got pulled over for going 8 miles over the limit. I have absolutely nothing on my traffic record because anything I would happened over 20 years ago. The fine is $175. Is there any hope in getting it reduced if I were to go to court? I’m a single mom and that is a lot of $ for me.

Yes, always go to court or hire an attorney to go t court. The City Attorney/District Attorney will almost always reduce either the fine and/or the charges/points if you show up to court. Most people prefer a reduction in points/charges because it affects their driving record, future ability to negotiate if ticketed again, and insurance rates. However, you might be able to negotiate the points/charges first, and then ask for a payment plan.
