State: Georgia County: Coweta

I’m a NC license holder who received a speeding ticket in Coweta county, GA. The citation was written as 84mph in a 70mph zone, however in the comments the officer noted that he clocked me at 92mph but lowered it to 84mph. Is there any likelihood of a GA lawyer getting this reduced further to 79mph, or somehow getting the citation not reported to NC at all? Or assuming this ticket will get reported anyway is there any benefit to hiring a lawyer versus simply paying the fine? It looks like the officer already did me a favor in lowering to 84mph to get me around the “super speeder” law.

Other facts and circumstances: No tickets/citations of any kind in the last five years (Only ticket was nine years ago)
– I was in a rental car when cited, so it has the rental car information on the ticket
