Hey I wanted to know I had a summons for possession of marijuana. I haven’t sowed up yet and it’s been more then a month will it be dismissed still?
Not sure where you’re writing from but, here in NC, the DA will not be dismissing anything where you fail to show up. If your lawyer goes on your behalf and works a deal, that’s another story. But if you’re on your own and don’t show, I don’t see the DA dismissing the case. What I see is the possibility of the judge sending out an order for your arrest because you didn’t show. Can you give me more info?
