I got 2 speeding tickets in Illinois and 1 in Indiana, but i live in Indiana. Will my record have the 2 from Illinois and could it make them take my license? These all happened withing 1 year but I am already taking a class online for the ones in Illinois.
If you have an Indiana driver’s license and receive a ticket in Illinois and there is a conviction entered against in Illinois, that conviction will be reported to the Indiana BMV. There are only certain reasons your license can suspended, however, depending on what the ticket is for and how many points or convictions are on your driving record. If you have more than 18 points on your record, then the BMV can place you on administrative suspension or suspend your license. However, simply receiving a ticket in another state does not necessarily mean your license in Indiana will be suspended.
